Perming Your Hair at Home?I've gotten perms for about 4 years now. My hairdresser usually uses a white (9/16 inch) rod, which produces nice curls. I feel comfortable giving myself a perm, so I ordered white rods online from Sally's beauty salon. I decided I would practice rolling my hair with the perm rods before I applied the solution, but once my hair dried and I took the rods out my hair was so curly.
