You need to contact the financial institution where your IRA is held. They can calculate your minimum required distirbution for you if you only want to take the minimum, or if you want to be sure you are taking at least the minimum. They will most likely have a form for you to fill out and sign. It's not complicated so don't worry! Just tell them what you want to do and someone will know what has to be done.
