Halloween Tin Can Lanterns
Put your old tin cans to use is by turning them into lanterns. Simply punch holes into them, then place candles or LED lights inside. If your tin cans are on the thin side, before starting, fill the cans with water then freeze overnight. This will keep the cans from bending when you're punching holes into them.
Fun Halloween Bathroom Decor
Make your family members and houseguests giggle in the bathroom with these Halloween inspired mummies and ghost. Empty toilet paper roll mummies lead them to think they're out of luck, but a ghost is there to tell them they can "Poo!"
How to Make Halloween Manikins
I live on an island and unfortunately it is very hard to get decorations for Halloween. Therefore, I found a way around all this and made my own. Each year our markets will sell a few things for the kids to enjoy Halloween.
Embellish a Dollar Tree Pumpkin
I love the little foam pumpkins I get at the Dollar Tree. But let's face it, they are pretty "uninspired".
Mummy Candy Bowl
This is an inexpensive and very practical Halloween mummy candy bowl.
The Little Punk'in Who Could!
Making the second foam pumpkin brought out the Punk' in me. I love the way it turned out.
Paper Plate Candy Corn Garland
Here is a cute idea for making a candy corn garland using paper plates. Learn how to make it in this short video.
Halloween Yo Yo Tree
Small fabric "yo yos" can be made from any scrap fabric and used for a variety of projects. Here they are combined to create a cute decorative Halloween tree. Learn how to make it in this short video.
"BOO" Pumpkin Sign
This decorative Halloween sign takes a little bit of time but is well worth the effort. Learn how to make it in this short video.
Halloween Pom Pom Garland
This festive and frugal garland is made from orange pom poms and drinking straws. Learn how to make it in this short video.
Pill Bottle Pumpkins
Turn leftover orange colored prescription bottles into cute Halloween Treats. Learn how to make them in this short video.
Halloween Mantel Pennants
Dress up a boring fireplace mantle with this decorative pennant made from Halloween themed fabric triangles. Learn how to make it in this short video.
Halloween Seasonal Frame
This is a cute and easy seasonal Halloween frame you could make. Display your child's photos in here, or add a magnet to the back of the craft stick to hang on the fridge, or on a white board (to count down the days of Halloween).
Decorative Halloween Stones
I love these Halloween decorations because you can find any shape of stone laying around, and figure out what spooky character you want it to be. My previous decorative stones needed ovals and wedges (watermelon stones) and perfectly round ones (ladybug stones), but with this, anything goes.
Here is a simple and easy to make pumpkin garland for fall and Halloween. It is perfect for decorating your fireplace area, or to use as table, party, or home decorations.
Easy Pumpkin Decorating
I started this project because I volunteer at a senior center. I do arts & crafts with them there and have great fun. I am very limited in what they can use such as, hot glue, sharp scissors, or certain types of paints and most of all, carving! So this is what I came up with. This is also great for young children.
Cardboard Halloween Pumpkin and Ghost
Are you on a budget this Halloween? Or want a mess free way of carving a pumpkin? You can recycle any cardboard boxes you may have laying around. I was able to make this pumpkin and ghost carving with an X-acto knife. Inside you can use a flashlight or LED candle.
Black Lace and White Ribbon Pumpkin
I have wanted to cover a pumpkin in lace since I saw one using an old pair of lacy hose. I finally just stopped and did it.
Making a Milk Jug Wind Sock
How do I make a ghost wind sock from a milk jug?
Lightweight Mummy Halloween Decoration
My place of work has a door decorating contest every year. This year, my office is planning on entering. We are in need of suggestions on how to make a lightweight mummy, so that we can suspend it from the top of the door frame. Any idea of what materials we could use that would be lightweight and cheap?
Homemade Halloween Decorations
I'd like ideas for decorating my yard and house for Halloween.
Making a Milk Bottle Witch
Can I have instructions for making a milk bottle witch? I would love to make one for a party I am having.
