Seeking an Active Online Varicose Vein Support Group?Do any of you know of a varicose vein support group on the web where there are people actively communicating? I've found many groups, but all of them have only a few old, unanswered posts and a few members, who are inactive.
Using Grocery Coupons from the Internet? How many grocery stores accept coupons printed from the Internet? I'm seeing more and more tempting coupons on-line.
Identifying a Kitchen Tool? What is this? It's about 7" long. Although it looks somewhat like tongs, it can't be opened up wide. There's a lip at the left edge of the flat plate, which prevents you from separating the two sides. Does the etching of a chicken in its nest mean that it's used with chicken or eggs?
Buying a Used Digital Camera?I would like to buy an inexpensive used digital camera on eBay. I intend to use it to photograph items I'm selling on eBay. Do you have a camera (manufacturer and model, please) that you'd recommend?
What Is This Garden Plant? Can you ID this plant, which is growing in Northeastern Pennsylvania?
Treating Tendinitis In Ankles?I've had tendinitis in both ankles for three months. Do any of you have experience with self-treatment or suggestions of which type of medical professional to consult? Happy Labor Day!
Reviews Of HD Radio?Do any of you have an HD radio? I'm considering buying one. This is not a satellite radio, such as Sirius, which requires a subscription. Instead, it's a high-definition digital radio, which gets signals transmitted from local radio towers. If you do have one, is it a significant improvement over regular radio in quality or due to the additional shows and music you get? I live between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Thanks!
Identify the Plant in This ArrangementThe woman who used the plant with the purple buds in this Ikebana arrangement doesn't remember the plant's name, and we'd like to know what it is! Can you identify it? (I blocked out another plant up higher in the photo to avoid confusion).
Crushing Ice With a Blender?I've been married for 30 years and just got my first blender, a Hamilton Beach model 54615, this weekend. I wanted it mainly to crush ice, but I've not having much luck with that.
Inexpensive Family Reunion Venue in Sioux Falls? We are planning a two day family reunion to be held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the summer of 2013. We would like to meet inside on either a Saturday or Sunday. (The other day, we'll meet in a park.)
Making Glasses Less Shiny?I just got new glasses and the lenses are extremely shiny. Yes, you're right, I didn't pay extra for anti-reflective coating. The lenses are high-index plastic. Any ideas for making them less shiny?
Buying Kettlebells Cheaply?I've noticed that kettlebells are much more expensive than hand weights. Even Wal-Mart has high prices on them. Have you seen them being sold cheaper anywhere? I suppose a detergent bottle is an alternative!
Recipes for Breadsticks, Cookie Sticks, Etc?I'm seeking ideas for bread sticks and cookie sticks! I received a lovely lead crystal container as my first Christmas gift of 2007. The interior of the cylindrical container is just over 7" tall and about 5.25" in diameter. Although you could use it for flowers (a lot of them because the mouth is huge), I would like to put food in it, because it would be displayed very well!
Ideas For Quick Workout?Any ideas for a quick exercise program that keeps one in reasonably good shape?
Flavored Brownies? What is your favorite brownie recipe (or mix) which doesn't include frosting, marshmallows or caramel? I'm seeking both standard brownies and embellished ones - cream cheese, raspberries, cherries, etc.
Keeping a Car from Being Towed?Any creative ideas on how to keep our car from being towed? We drive the car six days a week, but park it in the street in front of our house (perfectly lawful, no problem in this neighborhood).
Ideas for Using Cellophane Holiday Bags?I saw a very creative idea for using the cellophane holiday bags you buy in a package at the Dollar Store, and promptly forgot it! These bags are see-thru with easter eggs, hearts, etc. printed on them for holidays. Of course, they're great for candy, but what more innovative ideas do you have?
Trouble With Self Tanning Products? The first time I use self tanner each summer it works great. If I exfoliate before the second use, I don't get a tan, apparently because the tanner doesn't have anything to react with! If I don't exfoliate before the second use, I end up with a streaky mess. My skin is very normal and average. Do any of you have experience that might help me? Thanks!!
Airfryer Reviews?I'm tempted by airfryers, but I wonder whether I could do much that I couldn't do with my conventional oven. For those of you who have an airfryer, what's your experience?
