Planting Ornamental Grasses? Many ornamental grasses grow best in full sun, but there are still options hardy to zone 5 that tolerate partial shade. Keep in mind that most grasses need a minimum of 3 to 5 hours of direct sun per day to flower and present their best color.

I have days where I'm in so much pain it's hard to even take a shower. My hands hurt so much just holding a tooth brush hurts.

Changing the Color of Fabric Vertical Blinds? We just painted our family room. The main walls are light kaki and on three walls the lower half (separated by a shelf) is sage green. We have a 10' sliding glass door. About 5 years ago we put up vertical blinds. They have fabric inserts that are a light grey, kind of a tweedy color.

Hiding a Compost Pile?My new neighbors just cut down 3 pine trees that were on the border of my property. I kept my compost pile there. There was just enough sun and shade for good breakdown and it was nicely hidden. Well to say the least, we are exposed to the world now. And I am not too happy I might add.

Overweight Pug-a-poo?I have a 2 year old Pug-a-poo, Molly. She is getting fat. I don't know if she takes after the Pug, broad chest and heavy or not. She will not eat dry food unless I mix it with canned. She's 11 lbs, gained 2 lbs in the last year. You can grab fat , I guess it's fat, if you 'pinch an inch'.
