Advice For Buying A Scanner? Can anyone give me advice about purchasing a scanner for crafts? I am a decoupier and want to scan many of my original images and then use the printed ones. I have never owned a scanner before but feel that I can't live without one now. I have heard that there are different types depending on what you want to do with them. I am also a teacher and would like to also scan text as well. Thank you in advance for any help.

Proper Spray Paint Technique? Can anyone tell me the proper way to use spray paint? I have never liked using them but I must now. I want to spray varnish onto some wood. Is it better to spray in short bursts or one long spray? Thank you.

Giving a Sweatshirt a Makeover?I was given a very nice sweatshirt recently that was very large and roomy (which I like) but I need to do some makeover on it before I can wear it. I have cut off several inches of the sleeves and also cut off the elastic waist band at the bottom as I like my sweatshirts hanging straight down. Now what? Any creative people out there who can give me some ideas? I would certainly appreciate it. I have a sewing machine so that is no prob. Thanks you.
