Bringing My Memorial Petunias In for the Winter?I live in Buffalo, NY, in the Northeast and my petunia still looks fine, but it's now cold and I don't want it to die. The 10 inch pot has holes drilled on the bottom. Can I keep it alive in my house over the winter?

Tips for Freezing Leftovers?I live alone, but when I cook I make recipes for a family, then put portions into small 1 or 2 cup containers and put them in the freezer. Then I take them out when I want them. However, often when I do, they are freezer burnt and I have to toss them!

Cleaning a CPAP Machine?I suffer terribly from moderate obstructive sleep apnea. After over 2 months of waiting, I am finally getting a CPAP machine tomorrow (6/9). I hope this will help me. I have a concern about keeping this machine clean. I know that there are machines to buy that will clean them, but I probably can't afford one. I'm lucky my health insurance covers my CPAP! I need a way to clean this thing as simply and easily as possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Using Leftover Uncooked Pasta? When I make something with pasta, I always have some uncooked pasta in boxes left over. Now I have about 3 boxes of different kinds of uncooked pasta that just have a little left in each of them (less than half the box). I have some lasagna, fettuccine, elbows, etc.

Paying Debt to Improve Your Credit Score?I was told that I shouldn't bother paying off my debts (other than student loans), because paying it out won't change my credit score at all. It will still be lousy, so I might as well keep my money. True?

Funding for a New Emotional Support AnimalThis is a picture of my dog, Minnie. I had to have her put to sleep on 6/1/2020. She was 18 years old and was my emotional support animal. I'm living below poverty, but I need another dog for my mental health. I have a letter from a psychiatrist saying that I need an emotional support animal.

How Can I Make a Roll Up Puzzle Keeper?I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how to make a puzzle keeper. You roll out the cloth and put together a puzzle on it. You can "roll up" the puzzle and store it to roll it out again later when you want to work on the puzzle at another time. This way, a table or other popular surface isn't taken up and space and be saved.

Uses for Deer Skin Shammies?I came across an interesting find in my deceased father's garage the other day, a bunch of deerskin "shammies!" There were several of them. I washed them as they had car grease stains on them, but they were in excellent condition, and hung them out to dry.

Has Anyone Purchased Flower Seeds from Dollar Stores? To save money, I'm thinking of buying the seed packets for flowers that I see in dollar stores. They have one that is supposed to have a mix of different flower seeds in them. Has anyone ever tried using these dollar store seeds? Are they worth it?

What Are Some Reliable Survey-taking Sites? This question didn't fit in any category, but here goes: Does anyone here participate in online surveys to earn cash/rewards/gift cards? I'm interested in doing this, but I don't know of many sites that are reliable and safe and I thought some of you here would. Right now I'm on surveymonkey and I like it. Also which survey sites should I avoid?

What Goes On Sale When?Years ago, my mom had an article she cut out from somewhere showing what items go on sale during certain months. This is in the U.S. For example, in January, bedding usually goes on sale. In February, kitchen items go on sale. In March, garden items go on sale. Anyone know about this?

Finding the End of a Roll of Plastic Wrap?I buy good plastic wrap. I never buy the cheap stuff. Even the good stuff, which costs a bit more, can be aggravating to me as heck! It seems inevitable that after I've used it for a while, I lose the end of it and once I do that, I find it very, very frustrating to find the end again.
