Inexpensive Shelving?My 10 yr old daughter loves horses. I just primed, painted, and painted her bedroom. I hung a cute border (in the middle of the wall instead of top, her eye-level). Now, as I am attempting to put her furninture back into her pretty new room, it all covers the border!
Product that Reuses Remnants of Soap?Does anyone know of a product that re-uses remnants of soap. When it's ready to be thrown away, there is a device to put the slivers into, and suds up with water. I had seen one about 15 years ago when recycling was unheard of.
Black Stain On Polyester Khakis?I love shopping at Goodwill for clothes, but a couple of weeks ago, I was in a hurry and grabbed up a pair of polyester/spandex blend (I think, label gone) khaki colored slacks. I just liked the style of them, needed casual dress pants, just my size, long length.
Why do some light bulbs stick in the fixture?Why do some light bulbs stick in the fixtures? I've noticed this mostly in my bathrooms, so I'm assuming it may have something to do with moisture causing rust. What can prevent this, once I get this bulb out, besides replacing the entire fixture?
Ground Cover for Moist Ground?Does anyone have recommendations on what would be a moisture loving ground cover, but one that doesn't look "snakey"? There's a low spot in my yard about 10x10. I thought about a weeping willow, but my hubby said the roots would get into the septic system which runs through there.
