I use the net onion bags for trips to the farmers market to carry home our veggies. Also some I cut up to use in the bottom of pots when planting to hold the dirt in.
And hang one for garden tools. After a day of digging, wash them off and hang in the bag to dry, so they don't have dried mud/dirt on them the next time you need to use them.

Mesh bags to collect sea shells. How about using for wet swimming stuff. How about drying plant leaves for craft projects. I see one of those bags hanging in the closet with say many old gloves in it for next winter.
I use mesh bags to hold my different sizes of canning jar rings. I also use some to prevent birds from eating my Concord grape clusters. They're handy for controlling my various baking chips, since they don't stack well and are always falling over.
I live in a mobile home with aluminum awnings. I crumple the bags and put them at the ends of the dips in the awnings to keep the leaves from going into the gutter that runs across the ends. That way the water goes through and the gutter keeps working.
