Booklights in Home Emergency Kits

Add a few "booklights" to your emergency kits. Mine came in very handy during the recent blackout. I just clipped it to the front of my shirt and as it is adjustable I just pointed it where I wanted it and had a hands free flashlight!

The ones with the LED lights are great. You can also use them on the counter, table, and in the bathroom. Don't forget extra batteries.

I bought several at dollar tree. They have the batteries already in them. I keep one in each of our night stands. They have come in handy a couple of times.

This is a really good idea that I wouldn't have thought of. Thanks for posting it. I gave you a vote. This is something I would be very grateful to have in a time of need.

Love this idea! Lights are something that wouldn't occur to me - but hubby would've been glad for some during the last, thankfully brief, power outage around here.

I like the one you keep plugged into an outlet, when you lose power they turn on and know where they're at

Those outdoor solar lights that you stick in the flower beds or around the driveway are also excellent for inside. Keep them in a flower pot on your porch to activate them, and then when the power goes out during a storm, bring them inside and use them around the house.
