Apple Cake and Sauce

Ingredients:

Cake:

• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1/3 cup butter
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

• 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 cup nuts
• 3 cups diced apples

Sauce:

• 2 Tbsp. flour
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/3 cup butter
• 3/4 cup half and half

Directions:

Bake cake ingredients one hour at 350 degrees F in 9x13 inch cake pan. For sauce, boil ingredients 2 minutes and add 1 tsp. vanilla. Serve warm sauce on cake.
