Freeze Meatballs In Recycled Egg Cartons

When making meatballs, I always make extra and freeze them in washed egg cartons. It recycles the cartons and keeps the meatballs well.

What a clever idea.

I like the idea, but just for safety sake, I would probably use plastic wrap for a barrier. Even washed I wonder about bacteria.

I like the idea too, but would also lay down a strip of saran wrap, and just press the saran into the holes
then put the meatballs into each divit. Great way to keep them from freezing together.

This is a great idea but I would wrap each one in Saran wrap, then in aluminum foil to keep freezer burn from setting in.
