Keeping Floors Warm

If you have hardwood or linoleum floors I suggest keeping some throw rugs down to help keep warmer in the winter.

I love the hard wood floors I have but plan to get carpet remenants to cover them. I think carpet is alot easier to maintain & as you've pointed out, it will warm up the floors too.

You are right wood is beautiful but that is where it ends. Expensive to refinish. More prone to allergens, etc dust has know where to settle. Carpet helps insulate the home helping with the electric or gas bill. Also acts as a filter for your home trapping allergens, dirt & dust. All flooring has to be maintained regardless of what kind it is.
