Italian Oil and Vinegar Dressing

Silver Feedback Medal for All Time! 290 Feedbacks

Very easy to make and tastes better than the store bought salad dressings. I like to make up several seasoning packets and keep them in my kitchen cabinet for when I need another bottle of salad dressing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil (I prefer canola oil) - can use a combination of canola and olive oil.
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 2 pinches ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika or dry mustard, basil, oregano, tarragon, thyme, parsley flakes, marjoram, garlic powder
  • 2 pinches curry powder
  • Few grains red pepper or cayenne or a dash of Tabasco sauce

Directions:

Place in a tightly closed jar and shake to blend. Keep refrigerated.

Yield: 2 cups
