Raised Veggie Garden On Deck

Here is my husband's "veggie garden on the deck", built entirely from recycled pallets. Isn't he clever, we are growing lettuce, cabbage, onions, carrots, and spinach!

Your husband did a very nice job.

For anyone out there wanting to use pallets for gardening there are several types of treatments used on pallets, you want to make sure you use the heat treated types when growing your veggies.

Do you loan him out? Although it's quite a way from Australia to Oregon so that probably wouldn't work. Looks great! Thanks for the idea. =(^.^)=

Good idea but be careful with recycled pallets. They are made with scrub wood and sometimes come from foreign wood and have boring bugs in them that could get into your property. My husband used some to make some crafts out of and ended throwing all his handywork out and fumigating the workshop.

I've had fantasies of doing that if I ever had to move to an apartment! I think you're both brilliant!

Does he have any single brothers? If so, I'm asking my husband for a divorce. LOLO. Very nice work.
