Spinach Balls I

Ingredients

  • 2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 onion, chopped

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Roll into 2 inch balls with your hands and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Ingredients

  • 2 package frozen, chopped, spinach, cooked
  • 2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Shape into small balls and cook on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. Serve warm. Freezes well.

This recipe can be spread in a cake pan to bake and create 'spinach brownies'. They taste just as great and are much less work!
