Cooking Corn on the Cob

The easiest way to cook corn on the cob is the microwave. With the husks still on, cook the corn on high about 5 minutes (add a couple minutes more for each additional cob). Then carefully (it is very hot) "shuck" it, holding onto it with a hot pad. You can then wash it under hot water if you feel the need. It is very moist and tasty this way.

I shuck my corn first, then put it in a gallon size plastic freezer bag with a tablespoon or 2 of water and zap it in the microwave for about 7 minutes.

I shuck mine first, then wrap in wax paper before cooking in the microwave.

I would only use plastic bags that are made to be used in a microwave.
