Removing Blood Stain on Leather Furniture?

We have a light coloured leather suite; one of the chairs has a dried in blood stain. How do I remove this stain safely?

Try using hydrogen peroxide. Test in a hidden area first. Work on a small area at a time. This also works on mattresses, carpets, etc.
