Fixing Separated Planks on Laminate Flooring?

I have 2 yr. old laminate flooring and have noticed separated in planks in a couple of places. Any help is appreciated.

If you're talking about the planks separating at the ends, you can use the heel of a rubber-soled shoe you are wearing, to "kick" it back into place, eliminating the gap (you may have to do this for each plank in the row). Then, where the floor meets the wall (follow the floor boards that have the gap problem to the end, where they meet the wall, on either or both ends), there should be a 1/4" gap, filled with silicone caulk, to create a cushion for expansion. You may have to remove a threshold or shoe molding to get to the expansion space, but odds are that there is either no silicone caulk, or not enough to fill the space, thus allowing the gap to open.
