Costco for Refueling on Road Trips

On a recent road trip to Los Angeles, we mapped out beforehand where there were Costcos near the freeway. That way we could refuel our van and ourselves at the same time. Costco gas is often the best price in town so we knew we were getting a good deal. The kids got to have a hot dog or pizza and ice cream for less than five bucks and we were back on the road in no time. It worked great for maximizing our drive time and our vacation budget.
