A very easy way to remove mold from the corner of bathtub wall is explained here. Have the Clorox bleach, not the bathroom cleaner, but the laundry bleach, in a small paper cup and pour this on the mold and around the tub corner. Leave it 10 minutes and then rinse the place with water. Then do the regular cleaning with your bathroom cleaner. You will get amazing results.
You can put the bleach in the spray bottles and spray on the shower walls. Then rinse with water. Then do the regular cleaning.
Concentrate on a small area at a time time, because the bleach has a heavy smell. Be careful about getting it on your hands and in your eyes. Do open the door and window.

You should NEVER use bleach to remove mold! Mold and chlorine release a toxic gas when they come together that can make you sick or worse. All you need is a foaming bathroom cleaner or plain white vinegar.
I am in the middle of Hurricane Irene country and one thing on all the donation request lists is bleach. There are times when bleach is the most effective mold killer. Of course it should be used properly and with caution, as should any cleaning product.
Squeaks, you are correct. I have read several articles about people becoming seriously ill from this. The mold and bleach end up releasing very tiny particles that when inhaled cause serious long term problems.
Even the EPA recommmends not using bleach to clean mold!
From the EPA website: "Biocides are substances that can destroy living organisms. The use of a chemical or biocide that kills organisms such as mold (chlorine bleach, for example) is not recommended as a routine practice during mold cleanup.
Please be very careful to NEVER mix any product containing bleach with any product containing ammonia. The combination can be deadly! Even the cleaning wipes may contain ammonia compounds. Best to use only one product at a time, and be sure to have lots of ventilation!
I found that just scrubbing with bleach did not do the job. Just put soak some toilet paper with bleach and leave it on the mold overnight. If you're worried about fumes just leave a window open.
