Growing Peppers from Seeds

I recently tried planting seeds from a green pepper, and lo and behold, it worked! I have sproutlings. I will let you know if they produce. :)

You can save seeds from anything whether it's from fruit, vegetables or flowers and grow your own. I think it gives you a lot of satisfaction knowing that you produced something from seed. The seeds can be saved in small jars after they are dried.

I got about 13 good pepper plants from mine. Now, I let my seeds dry out first but I don't think that makes much difference. word to the wise: Don't plant them near any plants that might branch out.

I lost ten of those pepper plants by planting them within 1&1/2 ' of my tomatos and cucumbers. Bye bye pepper plants. I do have 3 of them still going strong!
