Dry Erase Marker on Microfiber Couch?

How do I get a dry erase marker stain out of a microfiber couch? Not sure if magic eraser would be safe to use.

Ok, no I am not the father from My Big Fat Greek Wedding, but you would be amazed what Windex can do. Get the regular old fashioned kind, blue WITH ammonia no fancy scents or colors. Spray it on and wipe with a terry cloth wash cloth repeatedly until gone. Works like a charm and dries quickly due to the ammonia. Will not leave blue residue on my cream color microfiber sofa. It works on clothes too. I swear I try it on just about everything. It's the best kept Greek secret, HA HA Really ythough it works.

Thank you!! This is the ONLY thing that works! For anyone else who has happened upon this post, Windex is the answer! Stop messing around with anything else- I accidentally set one of my marks with something else I tried.

Rubbing alcohol for permanent or regular markers. Windex for dry erase.

I would try isopropyl alcohol myself. Do let us know what you find out and how it works.

I have had moderate luck with hairspray. Sadly, cleaning microfiber has a lot to do with the quality of the fabric which you don't often know it is not the best quality until you get a stain. GRRRR.

Always test it on a place no one will see and then start with a small spritz and wick it away with a white cotton cloth. Work in small increments as it can run and make things worse if you aren't careful. Good luck!!

One of the easiest-to-find home items to utilize as a first aid method to remove dry-erase marker colours from furniture surfaces is rubbing alcohol.
It can be used for fabric, like a suede couch, microfiber, or leather.
You can use hand sanitizer or hair spray that contains alcohol as a substitute.
