Lady Lock or Clothespin Bar Cookie Recipe?

I am looking for a recipe for a bar cookie that tastes like a lady lock cookie or clothespin cookie. Has anyone heard of this before? Someone told me they had it at a community function but did not get the recipe. Does anyone have such a recipe. please?

Lady Lock Squares
One box of puff pastry sheets

Filling:
1c sugar
1/2c shortening
1/2c butter
1/2c milk
3Tbsp flour
1Tbsp vanilla
1tsp lemon juice

Powdered sugar for dusting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut puff pastry sheets into 1 1/2 squares and bake 1" apart for 10-12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on paper towel. beat all filling ingredients together until fluffy. Lift top of pastry and fill replace and dust with powdered sugar
