Walking through a park and noticed this beauty of nature. Even though it is past its prime, nature has made it beautiful.

That is a thistle plant. I suspect from looking at it that finches have enjoyed most of it. It was originally quite full. But it is still beautiful. I have seen GoldFinches hanging all over the "ripe" thistle plants. It is a sight to behold. Enjoy your day!
