Softer Line Dried Clothing

Do you line dry your laundry only to discover when it's dried out that it needs ironing? Try putting 1/3 cup of vinegar in the washer. Vinegar will take the soap residue out of the laundry and your laundry will be lots softer.

Although I don't line dry anything... mainly because my dogs would have a field day tearing my clean laundry apart... I've been amazed how soft my clothes get when I use vinegar in the rinse cycle. I add a bit to the wash cycle too, as an odor-fighter. I soak the clothes for about an hour by just stopping the cycle and starting it again when I'm ready.

Do your clothes smell like vinegar once they are dry? My problem is I can't seem to get my clothes both smelling good Anna being soft at the same time!
