Freezing Bananas

When the banana skins start to get brown, I peel the bananas and wrap each one in plastic wrap. Once I have them all wrapped, I place them in a freezer zip bag and store them in the door of my kitchen freezer. If I only want one for a smoothie or need several to make bread or muffins, the whole bunch isn't frozen as one big chunk!

I mash the bananas and pack them in zip lock bags. 1 cup each so when I'm ready to bake the banana bread we're all set to go!

That's a great idea. I froze one and tried to peel it the other day, impossible!

You are so organized! I just freeze them as is, in the peel. I find if I let them defrost a little, I do not have any trouble peeling them. They pop right out of the peels.

I use them in banana bread. I think your method would be good for those who like to make frozen smoothies, as you could just pop a frozen banana right into the blender.

Using plastic wrap is bad for the environment.
