Avoid The Drive Through

Do not wait in a drive-through line for food to go, you will save money on gas lost waiting in line, and also get exercise by parking your car and walking inside to order!

Editor's Note: Also, it's much easier to check your order and have mistakes fixed if you are inside the restaurant.

I totally agree with this. I NEVER go through a drive-thru. However, I have read (although I haven't noticed this myself) that some fast food places have a time limit on waits for the drive-thru, but NOT on the walk in clientele. So you may have a longer wait at the counter.

In fact, servers may leave you standing there to go serve the drive thru! As I said, though, I haven't seen this myself, and, if I did, I would take my coffee and hamburger business elsewhere.
