Stuffing Envelopes at Home?

I am just inquiring if anyone out there has researched or has stuffed envelopes at home. Thinking of doing so for extra income. Any advice?

Editor's Note: There does not appear to be any legitimate envelope stuffing opportunities on the Internet. They all require money up front and often do not send you anything in return. The ones that are real appear to be only available in your local area. Please post your own experiences below, good or bad.

A friend of mine tried this and it was a scam. She never made any money at all. I would definitely research the company and get a clear answer on when and how you will be paid and do not whatsoever invest in any kits or business opportunities they may offer you to get started.
