Great gift! I give this to brides at the shower.

Ingredients:

  • attractive glass bottle
  • rose petals
  • zest of one lemon
  • whole cloves

  • unscented rubbing alcohol

Directions:

Rub petals between fingers to release their flavor. Place the petals in a re-sealable jar. Add a pinch of lemon zest. Add a handful of cloves - enough to suit your desire scent. Pour rubbing alcohol into a jar. Allow the mixture to infuse for a week. Strain the liquid and place in a pretty jar.

Alcohol is very drying. You might consider witch hazel instead. I do this with glycerin and water solution and apply after bath or shower.
