Ginger (Kitten)

Ginger is an 8 week old kitten. Ginger was born on the farm. His parents are feral cats. He was born approx 8 weeks ago, and came to us about 2 weeks ago.

Ginger caught our attention a few weeks ago when he was found under our hosta plant. We would try to feed him, but his mom would always move him along with his siblings the moment she realized we could see him.

A few days would pass. One day, he was seen watching me put out the laundry. He was not afraid of us unlike his siblings whom would run away. Ginger was missing one day and I wondered what happened to him. Our surprise came as we opened our garage door. There Ginger was, away from his family.

We took him in and he has been living in our sun-room since. He loves the comforts of indoors. He is litter trained and very gentle. You would never know that he was born in the wild.

Anyway, we are hoping to find Ginger a home, as we have two other litters outside to help. If anyone is wanting a kitten, whom lives near London, Ontario, Canada. Ginger would make a great new addition to a family.

What a sweet story! We have a beautiful red cat too, named Peanut. We love hiim so much! It is a beautiful story how this kitten chose to come into the circle of humans the way he did! Love and hugs to him!

What a beautiful little golden kitty. If we lived anywhere close enough, we'd take him in a heartbeat and toss him in with the other two "wascally" rascals we live with here. They would love him to pieces.

I'm just not so sure you should let him go since he chose you with what I'm sure must have been great consideration since it involved leaving his natural family. You and your home must have meant a great deal to him.

Bless you for helping him in any way that you can though. Maybe you're only meant to be a "stepping stone" to get to where he really belongs.
Best of luck to you both.

He is such a little cutie and you shouldn't have any trouble at all finding him a forever home somewhere close to you. Wish we could take him. He's such a good size to raise and love as part of a family.

Thank you for your kind words. Ginger is still with us. He has learned to look for treats in different places. Proving that he is a smart little kitten. Today he discovered a cricket, and spent a good half hour, playing with it. I hope someone from the area, gets in touch with us. Ginger will be a great pet for someone.
