  • 1 Tbsp. light Karo Syrup
  • 1 pkg. Knox gelatin
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

Mix milk, yogurt, mayonnaise, and syrup together well. Bring 1 cup water to boil and mix in Knox gelatin. Set aside. Mix egg yolk with small amount of milk mixture and beat well. Add gelatin and water to milk mixture and beat well. Add in egg yolk mixture and beat well. Pour into Tupperware or like bowl (with cover) and set in refrigerator. Pudding will last for two weeks covered in refrigerator.

Very rich in calcium, this pudding can be used as a supplement for kittens, from birth on, sick cats, and show cats to put on weight. Several veterinarians have approved this recipe as being balanced and nutritious.

Sounds yummy! Thanks for the recipe. I might try it on my senior cat to try and fatten her up some. She's gotten so skinny, poor dear.

I used this recipe, for the kittens I have had over the years to try and raise when their mom had died or they had been abandoned. I didn't use the geletin, and I added a drop or two of baby vitamin drops per kitten.

No! Felines are lactose intolerant post-weaning... plus corn syrup? are you nuts? Cats do not handle carbs well, and they do NOT use it for fuel.

you are lying on that one. No vet would recommend carbs for a cat.

I didn't think cats were supposed to have milk. I read it a while back and I think it said something about giving them diarrhea.

Are you crazy?
Cats can't have milk (unless you want to have them in hospital)! And seriously? Don't you think most of those ingredients are for human?

Can sick baby goats have this?

Thank you for this recipe, but Im pretty sure cats shouldnt eat anything that contains sugar or sugar substitutes. Their little bodies can become very sick.

My cats LOVED milk and yogurt, so I found out about the sugar problems, I started buying cream and plain yogurt for them
