My son worked at Lowe's, in the lumber dept. People who ordered and didn't pick up, or brought supplies back, they don't sell as new. They call them "cold packs". Ask someone there if they have any, it's good lumber and a lot cheaper in price. You may have to go back and buy another one here and there to get what you need for a project. You can probably get a cold pack of lumber that would run normally about 300.00 for about 100.00 or less! My brother in law put a new back porch on his house with "cold pack" lumber. Saved a bundle of money!

Habitat for Humanity has discount building supply centers in many cities. Check them out! You'll not only get some good deals, but also be helping a great cause.
