Sylvester (Tuxedo Cat)

Sylvester is a 10 year old Mixed long hair tuxedo cat. I got him 10 years ago. Sylvester was a rescue. Thrown into the woods, after having is whiskers clipped off, he was left to fend for himself.

He loves to watch Animal Planet and has been known to watch cat cartoons on the computer. It was a hard year for our family, my mother was in her final year here at home with us and we had lost our beloved cat "Bandit". I put the word out that our home needed a pet and a neighbor's daughter found this young cat behind her house in the woods. She brought him right over.

My daughter was 9 and the moment cat and child met it was kismet. They fell into forever love, and have been inseparable ever since. He rested his head on her shoulder and dangled his legs limp while she held him that first day. We knew it was meant to be. My favorite quote "Time spent with cats is never wasted".
