Cleaning a Microwave Quickly

To clean the interior of a microwave, first boil a bowl of water in it for 3-4 minutes. The humidity allows everything to wipe out easily with a regular dishcloth.

You can add vanilla extract or lemon juice to the water to make it smell better too. :)

If you've let your microwave go too long between cleanings or someone in your house is a messy microwaver, you can microwave your dishcloth for 10-20 seconds in the midst of the cleaning process. Not only will the hotter cloth work better, the extra dose of humidity will help loosen stubborn debris.

Be careful with the heated cloth though, so you don't burn yourself! You can leave it in for an extra minute after you've heated it, both to let the rag cool and to let the added humidity work it's magic.
