Save rinds from lemon and oranges in a baggie in fridge, use grated in recipes or simmer with spices as home freshener.

Make candied citrus rinds. They`re delicious. Most cookbooks have how-to recipes. I make them at Christmas every year.

add either orange or lemon rind with pith to witch hazel for a nice face toner. or put in spray bottle store in fridge and spritz your face

You can use hollowed-out citrus rinds to trap slugs. Cabbage leaves work well too.
