I had to wash my dog in something that has high sulfur in it. Now my towels all smell horrible like sulfur (rotten eggs) how do I get this smell out? I have tried everything.

Try putting in a cup of white vinegar with the wash...We've had to bath our dogs in the same stinky sulphur stuff, and vinegar cuts the smell. (I use hot water, too.)

So I gave a Nieghbor a ride this summer and it turned out she had scabies which was horrible when I got it. I went to the ER and used their cream, and I also researched and found surfer was a cute as well as pyrethin. Well rose garden spray had sulfur AND pyrethrum so I got some rose spray and sprayed my few clothes I was wearing during the ordeal ( I was doing laundry every day or two). Well as far as a cure it worked great, but I didn't think about the smell at the time and I didn't really notice it until the clothes had been washed and dried, kind of like the heat activated it. Long story short I tried everything, soaking in vinegar, baking soda AND vinegar, strongly scented expensive detergents and nothing work at all. And the bad thing is these clothes I've kept seperate in case I could fix them well yesterday a towel with the silver smell got in with a load and it has transferred the smell to the whole load.

Seriously I can be just sitting there and smell it on me and I hate it enough that I am now doing the real fix which is what I recommend to you my dear reader. Clothes are just clothes and they come and go anyways. I don't know about you but the clothes I am putting to the smell test and tossing tonight to keep from passing the infection on to my other laundry aren't Prada or
Gucci( I do like nice shoes tho and will she'll for those) my one pair of Dsquared jeans are safe and I'd rather grudgingly sacrifice some clothes that I still really like than eventually have my whole closet smell like sulfur. Good luck!
