Easy Two Colored Quilt

If you just want to make a quilt and you don't have a huge fabric stash, just do a two colored quilt. First remove the biased edge, rotary cut the fabric in long six inch strips, alternating the colors as you sew. End the piece so one color is at one end and the other color is at the other end.

Next, turn the large piece and rotary cut the other direction. Now you have the squares in strips to sew, by matching the beginning square with the second color. Cut accurately and press each seam going one direction. If you don't want to mess with batting, use a blanket or fleece for the back. No batting needed for the middle.

Ardis, thank you so much for that tip. I think I can do that. Joanie
