Angel is 22 months old. Angel is a black and gold, long haired, female, mini Dachshund. In July of 2009, I was pining for a new baby after the loss (about 3-4 years prior) of our beloved "Josie", same as Angel but a black and tan and I started doing a search. We ended up searching online, and we saw her photo! Angel was born into our lives upon arrival at the airport on 07/31/2009 midnight.
She was, and still is, beautiful! She steals anything not nailed down and runs under the bed with it. It's a game to her because she likes to have you try and coax her out with treats. She also loves playing on the floor with her Daddy and running around the yard with him. She loves watching Animal Planet, and getting her picture taken.
Angel especially loves Christmas! When she sees her stocking going up on the mantle, she gets so excited. Then on Christmas eve, she sits there and stares at it. About 4-5 am Christmas day, she starts waking us up. First things 1st - that stocking!

Great story, and beautifully told. She sounds like our granddog Sadie Belle. LOL with the Christmas things.
Sadie wants to open her presents herself, then she wants to help you open yours too. She is as excited as any child.

TY for your kind words! Oh, when Christmas comes around getting excited is not the word for it. She starts jumping up & down when she sees Christmas wrap in September! She is sharp as a tack, knowing the difference between regular wrapping paper & Holiday wrapping paper! Dachshunds are so very smart, sometimes being predictable, & then not! She does the same as your Sadie Belle, with helping us unwrap our gifts also! They are so precious,& we've been blessed with our Angel.
She is God's gift to us, & all she wants is our love. And she gets all the love & attention she wants & deserves. She certainly makes us very happy, so she's very deserving of all the love & attention we can dote upon her! The above pic is from last Valentine's Day 2010 & at one point she tried to eat the roses! Angel is so adorable, she has us wrapped around her tiny paws! I thank God every day for her. We are very blessed! I sure hope ya voted for her! In advance, I thank you!
