It's so easy to make, doesn't heat up the kitchen and tastes wonderful.
Spray crock pot with nonstick spray. Combine cake mix and soda, pour into crock pot. Cook on low 2-3 hours or until a toothpick inserted in middle, comes out clean.

Can you cook this in a slow cooker and just cut off after two or three hours?
This just sounds crazy, but in a good way. I am going to give it a try.
Well, we tried the white cake with root beer, and we did like it! A nice root beer flavor in the cake, and I should warn though, my dog had a taste of the cake, and she acted like she was addicted to that cake, and we had to be careful about letting her have too much, but, if she had her way, she would have eaten it all!
