Paper Plate Angels

Angels can be used as place settings for a festive meal or as a cover for a small plate of goodies to give away.

Approximate Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

  • 2 paper plate liners with scalloped edges
  • glitter glue
  • glue
  • felt pen
  • scissors

Instructions:

  1. Cut edges of one plate along the scallops.

  2. Center pattern A on the plate, trace and cut along solid lines, thus removing section C. (See diagram)

  3. Overlap skirt from behind and glue in place.

  4. Fold hands to front and glue together.

  5. Use glitter to make hair and to decorate skirt.

  6. Draw features with felt pen.

  7. Cut one wing B from second plate, reverse the pattern and cut the other one. Glue in place as shown in photo.

  8. Trim edges with glitter.

If using as place settings, print names on upper part of skirt or glue name tags to hands.
