When using glue doing crafts with children, give each child some glue in a cup from an egg carton. Saves them fighting over the glue and easy to clear up. I use this idea with my group of Sparks.

Let the child use a craft stick to spread the glue with and have a wet cloth or paper towel by each child to wipe their hands on.

When I was teaching preschool. We would put glue in a soda cap for each child. It worked great.
