Worm Play MatHere is a fun play mat that I created. Kids can make worms for it out of Play-Doh, pipe cleaners, or even paper. If you laminate it they can also draw worms and tunnels onto the mat with a dry erase marker. Enjoy!
Remaking 'The Scream''One of the projects assigned in my daughter's art class was to recreate a famous painting with items found at home. My son loves the painting "The Scream" by Edvard Munch and volunteered to help her in recreating it. They used clothing, blankets, and strips of cardboard to create the background. My son posed as the figure in the painting. I think it turned out pretty amazing!
Face Mask Felt OrnamentMasks, masks, everywhere! If this isn't symbolic of 2020 I don't know what is. Celebrate the glorious mask with this fun ornament!
Blue and Brown Eggs, Oh My!After losing all of our chickens last year, we hand raised 5 new girls last spring. They finally started laying eggs and by the time we realized it there was quite a collection hidden around the coop. After washing them up I had to take a moment to appreciate the wide range of colors and speckles on them. I saved many of these and plan to blow them out and save them.
Homemade Printed Tissue PaperWith just a few supplies, a computer, and a printer it is super easy to make small pieces of custom tissue paper for the holidays!
Felt Killer Hornet OrnamentNothing says 2020 like an infestation of killer hornets! Do we even dare to ask "What's next?!"? You can make a single hornet or a whole swarm to adorn your tree.
