Gizmo (Kitten)Gizmo the kitten is 2 months old. She is a dilute Calico or Tortoiseshell. She was found huddled in a friend's garage, with an eye infection when she was a few more than four days old. She is at the ninja cat stage where she zooms thru the house, and hasn't learned to stop for humans. So we call them Ninja kittens at that age. Her coat is coming out so beautifully, the orange and white are so dilute from a genetic mutation. She is so beautiful and wild acting, I think it is from pure joy! We never thought she would get off the bottle, but she finally did after she bit off two nipples on the pet nurser.
Ginger (Calico)Ginger is two years old. We got Ginger and Lumpy as 12 week old kittens when my husband had strokes 2 years ago. We knew that pets, especially cats, help to relieve stress and we got them to help with his recovery. Ginger is our "Trophy" cat lol. She is the bigger of the two kittens and is a calico.
Lumpy (Tabby)Lumpy is a 2 year old Tabby. We got Lumpy and another kitten 2 years ago when my husband suffered two strokes to help his recovery knowing that pets can relieve stress.

Nickels (Hound)Nickels is a 1 year old hound. We got Nickels when he was about 4 months old. Nickels is very playful as he is still a pup. Tug a war with the kids is one of his favorite games. Fetch is another.
Ozzie (Catahoula Leopard Mix)Ozzie is a 1 1/2 year old Catahoula Leopard mix. We rescued Ozzie when he was six months old. His owner was no longer able to care for him. He was a very rambunctious little guy who needed a lot of interaction and exercise. Ozzie is still a very busy boy! He loves to run, he plays with his many toys, tears around the house with his best buddy Roxy the kitten, and he loves sticks! Ozzie is a wild boy, but he loves to cuddle. Despite being almost 40 pounds, he is sure he is a lap dog and tries to curl right up.
Tuffin (Calico)Tuffin is about 8 weeks old. She is a calico. We got Tuffin 4 weeks ago. She's a typical playful kitten who thinks everything she meets up with is something to play with. She loves playing with our Beagle and Chihuahua. Right now, shoes with shoestrings intrigue her. I decided to name this adorable kitten Tuffin because if she had not been a tough one, she would never have survived the first few weeks of her life.
Beau (Abyssinian)Beau is a 3 1/2 year old Abyssinian. We bought our pet from Kijiji 6 months ago. He loves watching birds from his window seats, as he is an indoor cat. He knows just how to get everything he wants. Very spoiled.

He has an aristocratic walk which is how he got his regal name. He is an absolute joy and has provided many entertaining moments for us.

Fishface (Cat)A stray cat started eating the bread and popcorn that I threw out on my patio for the birds. I bought some cat food and it came every day. Then it became pregnant. One day went off and had its kittens.

He is lovely and patient to the point that he doesn't even complain when we dress him up to be a star.

Buddy (Dog)Buddy is about 11. DD had bought tickets and we had gone to see "The Celtic Women". When we got back home we found Buddy was fast asleep in my friend's suitcase. She was visiting from San Jose, California. Buddy had climbed in and just made himself a new bed. Good thing she likes dogs.

MoJo And Purrrl (Cats)MoJo and Purrrl are both under 1 year old. The grey MoJo was born to a ferel mother and our 22 pound Maine Coon. The cotton calico Purrrl was found on a friend's neighbor's mulch pile in the snow, at about 6 weeks.
Kiaat and Ursa (Leonberger)Kiaat and Ursa are 10 year old Leonberger dogs. We got both Kiaat and Ursa 10 years ago when they were puppies. Ursa was a rescue who was given up 4 times since she kept getting bigger and bigger and the people thought she was "just too big".

Gizmo (Moggy - Domestic Cat)Gizmo is an 11 month old Moggy kitten. Gizmo was abandoned by her mother shortly after birth. A local lady found the litter in her son's car and posted for help on a local animal shelter page.
Nukka (Dog)Nukka, the dog, loves the sandbox. The problem is, she doesn't know it's for kids to play in. She wasn't being a good sister this day!
Charlie (Cat)Charlie is 4 years old. We got Charlie three years ago, one day before he was to be put to sleep. The girl who had him was moving. Since Charlie has a little condition, she didn't think anyone would adopt him. We did!
Sage and Daisy (Timberland Wolf and...These two, half Timberland Wolf and half German Shepherd, two month old sisters, Sage and Daisy are dancing happily. As the runt puts her arm around the other's back and they turn heads towards each other, they start to move around the room together in a motion that looks like they are dancing.
Winslow (Sharpei Mix), Lady (Shih Tzu), and Lexi...Meet Winslow (6 year old Sharpei mix), Lady (13 year old Shih Tzu), and Lexi (6 year old Pom mix). All of my furbabies are rescues, I also have a 12 year old Pitbull Terrier who is not in the picture. They own me, I don't own them, they are the rulers in my house :) Sleep, play, eat.
GabeGabe is a 5 year old mixed breed. One cold winter morning, my son awoke to prepare for work. As he opened his door, he found this little guy on his step, shaking, scared, and hungry. As he looked into those sad brown eyes, it was love at first sight.
Feral Momma CatThis cat came to visit about 3 days after we moved in and she stayed for 3 years! You could not get near her, even though she was our guest for meals twice each day until the day she disappeared.
Bella (Shar-Pei/Lab Mix)Bella "No No" Kirkus is a 1 year old Shar-Pei/Lab mix. We adopted her when she was 5 weeks old. The vet office found a litter of pups in a box by a dumpster and the rest is history!

Duke (Chow/Lab mix)Duke is a 2 year old Chow/Lab mix. My fiance got him for me 2 years ago for Christmas. He loves to play ball. Duke is a great dog, he doesn't bark unless there is someone in the yard that he doesn't know. He is my best friend and a momma's boy as I like to call him.
Sunshine and Blue Moon (Parakeets)Sunshine and Blue Moon are 2 year old parakeets. I was wishing for a happy noise while working in the kitchen. So, I found my yellow parakeet calling her Sunshine. When she left her nest, another bird seemed so unhappy. Blue Moon was her boyfriend, it was just too obvious.
Blossom (Calico )Blossom is a 6 year old Calico kitty. I brought her over to Florida, by plane, from Tucson after getting her checked out and vaccinated. I gave her a prescribed sedative for the long trip ahead of us on Southwest Airlines, stopping once in Phoenix.
Jett (American Crow)Jett is an American crow stranded by his parents. We raised him until he was 7 months old, then he flew away. He just hung around the yard, and was such fun. We never caged him once he learned to fly. He went with us everyplace outside.

Miss Penelope (Dog)Miss Penelope is 3 years old. We were given her by family members who felt we needed to fill the empty spot our beloved Princess left after she was killed. Ironically Penelope's birthday was the exact day we lost Princess.
