He will take things like gloves and whatever else seems of interest, and then sheepishly come to me, and show me what he has done. Cookie (Mixed Cat)Cookie is 3 year old mixed breed. We got him at a potato farm where we went to buy organic potatoes. Cookie was only one pound and very skinny and sickly.
Oliver Riley (Lab Mix)Oliver Riley is 5 months old and very, very active. He is a Lab mix, but I am unsure of what other breed he has in him. I met Oliver at a animal shelter. I had put my best friend to sleep, who I was with me for a very long time.
Scully (Tabby)Scully is a 6 year old handsome tabby with some Maine Coon. We got Scully and his sister Kit Kat for mousing duties, as well as the fact that every home should have a cat.

Pudgy (Pug/Poodle)My baby is 15 years old, and will be "sweet sixteen" in May. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old. Pudgy is a "Pugapoo" (Pug-Poodle hybrid). My parents bought her for me in 1995.
Rusty (Border Collie)Rusty is our 5 year old Border Collie. We got him from a breeder in Wilberforce, Sydney. He was the second to last one of the litter and the cutest! He likes to take walks, chase Frisbees, chase balls, and loves getting pats!
Marston (Cat) Marson is a six month old former stray. His nickname is "Marston the Monster" for all the trouble he gets into. He is adorable though, so tends to get away with it all!
Our FinchesWe started out by rescuing a finch from outside our window ledge. We then decided it needed a mate. Little did we know that they would fall in love with each other. It was truly amazing to watch them nurture their young.
Boy (Cat)This little cat, "Boy", is the laziest thing I have ever seen. He eats and sleeps (that is about all he is good for), but I love him. He loves to get his back and belly scratched on a daily basis.
Yoshi (Cat)Yoshi is 4 years old. We got Yoshi March 1, 2009 from the Humane Society. Yoshi likes to sleep, eat, and to take care of our kittens. He especially loves to put the dog in his place, by ambushing and smacking him.
Rosie (Chihuahua)Rosie is a Chihuahua. I'm guessing that she is 4 plus years old. I got her from a rescue about 4 years ago. She like to chase and bite the vacuum cleaner. She bites it so hard sometimes she can move it!
Brush Dog Before WalkWhen I had my dear Newfoundland dog mix (an extreme shedder), I would brush him every night out front before we left on our walks. This would give any loose fur that didn't get caught in the brush a chance to fall off while he was walking.
Hendrix and Layla (Chihuahuas)Hendrix is 3 years old and Layla is 2 years old, both are Chihuahuas. They love to run at the dog park. We found Hendrix in a newspaper ad. Among all the other puppies in that kennel, he was the only puppy that didn't run from me.
Tommie and Victor (Papillion and Shih-tzu)ave 2 pets, Victor and Tommie. Tommie is 15 month old Papillion, and Victor is 19 month old small Shih-tzu. I got Tommie as a 6 month old rescue pup from Wasatch Rescue in Salt Lake, and Victor as 9 week old from a breeder in Bellingham, WA
Keely (Miniature Australian Shepherd)Keely will be 4 in August 2011. She is a Miniature Australian Shepherd. Keely and I met about a year after I lost both of my loving pets. I lost one to old age and one to cancer. I couldn't stand to live without having a best friend at my side.

Mia and Wolfe (Welsh Corgi)I have two of the best Pembroke Welsh Corgis. The tan one is Mia and the black is Wolfe. They are brother and sister, and every time they travel in the car they always have to be touching each other and the sleep with their heads crossed.
Gabby (Calico)Gabby is a 4 four year old Calico. Gabby is the kitten we kept out of the litter that our cat Sassy had in Florida. She chases squirrels and foot balls, watches birds, watches TV, and she loves to eat!
Farrah (Sable Ferret) Farrah is a 4 year old Sable Ferret (Fuzzbutt). We got Farrah from a lady who was rescuing ferrets. She was very timid and not very friendly.
Nicky (Calico)Nicky is my 10 year old Calico. Nicky was dropped off, thrown out, by someone who didn't want her. She was just thrown out of a car and left. I found her hiding at my Grandma's house, and my nephew told me that he thought she had rabies because she had hissed at him.
Jasper (Dog)We just recently put our 13 1/2 year old Lab to sleep and were quite lonely without him. On Valentines Day. my husband decided to surprise us by getting this cute little guy.
Baby (Lab Mix)Baby is a two year old Lab mix. I got her through an animal rescue group. She likes to play and spend time with us. If you look at the picture real good, you will notice that Baby is guarding her very own crayfish.
Kodie (Mixed Breed)Kodie is an 8 year old mixed breed. I got him 8 years ago for Christmas, from my now deceased husband. He loves playing in the snow. Kodie has been what has kept me going since my husband death; I would not have made it without him.

Animals Cracker As Dog TreatI use animal crackers (unfrosted) for a treat. I break them in half and stash them in a small bag in my pocket. They are not expensive, nor do they have a big odor. We are working on getting Eddie to drop his ball after retrieving it.
In Memory of Hope (Terrier Mix)Miss Hope had just turned 1 when she passed away. These were taken three days before the oil spill! Hope was a terrier mix, as the pound calls them. I had began to have health problems that made me unable to work permanently.

Scooby (Min Pin)Scooby is our 6 year old Min-Pin. We adopted him from a local rescue shelter just before Christmas, 2007. He likes to order us around, LOL. He is very vocal when it's time to eat; time to go to bed; and he scolds the other dogs when they are engaged in horseplay.
Miss Kitty (Tabby)Miss Kitty is 9 years old. She was given to me at 7 weeks old by someone who didn't want her because she meowed too much. She is a very vocal cat and I love her. She loves to sit on the car, look out the window, roll in dirt, and climb trees.
Tabitha (Tabby Mix)This is Tabitha, a very sweet kitty. I do not have any idea how old she is. Her eyes are clear and bright, and she is very active, so I assume she is a younger cat. Tabitha is a feral tabby mix as far as I can tell. Tabitha showed up in my yard a few years ago.
Candy (Dog)Candy is 6 years old. We don't really know the official breed, so we just tell everyone that she is "small, black, and mostly ugly". However I have decided that she is really not ugly, she is simply "beauty challenged".

Madame, Spot, and Pugsley (Cats) These are our cats Madame, Spot, and Pugsley. Two of them are 2 1/2 the other is 1 1/2. They are all from the same mother, but from different litters. They are formerly feral cats; we would call them 'Moggies'.

Tigger (Pug)Tigger is 5 now. We got him as a puppy at six weeks old from a breeder in our city that we found in the classifieds. He likes to run and play, fetch his rubber bone, or chew on his basketball.
Philvester (Cat)My cat Philvester is my pride and joy. He's so loveable and my best friend in the world. Yes, I am a cat lover. I raised Phylvester from a very small kitten and I hand feed him. He shows love and he can meow out mama.
Daphne (Cat)Daphne is my 2 year old cat. My older cat had kittens born on Thanksgiving two years ago, and I kept two of the kittens. She hides under the covers and scares people when the covers are lifted - lol! She follows me around like a little kid.
Charlie (Dog)Charlie also know as Charlie-saurus is six months old. I found Charlie through a Craigslist ad when he was only 2 months old and weighed 2.5 lbs. Charlie is a social butterfly! He loves playing fetch and running with the Great Danes at the dog park.
Hindu (German Shepherd)Hindu is my 12 year old German Shepherd. I got him from a registered breeder. He likes to walk along the beach, play with his "Frisby", and sit at window and watch people/dogs passing by.

Indiana Jones (Domestic Tiger)Indiana is a 2 year old domestic, medium length hair, tiger and has 7 toes. He was abandoned in a box with 14 other kittens that were hours old. As a worker at the shelter they were dropped at, we divided them up, and I hand raised 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Blondie (The Wonder Dog)Because Blondie is a "shelter-baby" we do not have a definite age; however, the vet thought she was between 5-7 years old when she became a member of our family. Based on that information she is approximately 15+ years.
Huckleberry (Catahoula/Blue Heeler)Huckleberry is a 6 month old Catahoula/Blue Heeler mix. Huck was originally destined to heard cattle on a friends ranch. When he showed lack of ambition and had more fun hanging out with us, the owner gave him to us.

Tux (Border Collie - Lab Mix)Tux is a 10 month old border collie/lab mix, who we got 1 month ago. He likes to run around the yard - jumping for his bone. We had a lab mix for 15 years and lost him about 9 months ago. We decided our family was ready for our next puppy!

Pepper and Eclissi (Cats)Pepper will be 4 later this month, and Eclissi will be 4 in April. Pepper is classic silver mackerel tabby with very close fur and well-defined nearly black stripes. Pepper is the size of a kitten, a very petite oriental type and cross-eyed.

Huggybear (Cat)This is a picture that my daughter took when she was just 5 years old. We had just brought home this camera from the store. She took the camera from me, held it up in front of our cat (Huggybear), and pushed the button. I am totally amazed at how well this picture turned out.
Mason (Border Collie - Lab) and Chewy (Pomeranian -...Mason and Chewy are my dogs. Mason is a 5 year old is a Border Collie/Lab, and Chewy is a 1 year old Pomeranian/Dachshund. We rescued them both from the animal shelter, when they were puppies. They love playing together and especially in the snow.
"No" (Cat)"No" is a 7 month old mixed breed. He was born to a stray, that runs with our other cats. No enjoys picking a play fight with our larger cats and dog. Even when he was little he never gave an inch, even when they sent him rolling.
Midge (Cat)This is Midge, she is 8 years old. My friend Jay gave me my kitty as a gift. I got to see her about 2 hours after she was born!

Spud (Dark Brahma Chicken)This is Spud, my 2 month old cockerel chicken. His breed is a Dark Brahma. I hatched him out early last spring along with his only sister. This breed grow slowly and take longer time to mature then any other breed I known.
Skeeter (Dog) and Muddy Water (Cat)Skeeter and Muddy Water (the cat) have a special attraction and love for each other. Skeeter let the mama cat have his dog house to birth her kittens, and ever since, it has always been "love at first sight" for these two.
Elliot (Morkie)Elliot is a 8 month old Morkie (half Maltese, half Yorkie). He is a micro-teacup size, weighing 3 lbs fully grown. I searched high and low through the internet for a teeny tiny hypo-allergenic Yorkie/Maltese/Poodle type mix.
Mama Kitty (Cat)Meet Mama Kitty, age 3. She was my daughter's cat and then when she moved out the cat stayed to torment the dog. She is a really lovable cat. She likes to lay on you and be in your face.
Rex (Vizsla Pointer)Rex is a 4 month Vizsla Pointer. We got him as the result of a chance meeting with family who could not keep him. He loves to run like crazy, sleep under the covers, and fetch toys.

Mitzi (Cat) Mitzi is a 4 year old tiger stripe. I got Mitzi at a spay and neuter clinic when she was 8 weeks old. Her name was Maura, but since she is a Hemingway (an extra toe, I mean thumb, on her front paws), I decided Mitzi would work for her.
Sweetie (Cat)Sweetie is a 1 year old cute and cuddly cat. A year ago my neighbor came over and, with panic in her voice said, "Please help!" She pointed at her deck. I thought the way she was acting I would find a rabid raccoon, but instead I found a litter of 3 week old kittens.
Reeses and Motley (Manx and Maine Coon)Reeses and Motley are both are 8 months old. They are Manx and Maine Coon. Both kitties were rescued off the street. They like to clean themselves, and chase each other all over. They love to lick the pan!
Vinegar for Cleaning Bird CagesEqual parts white vinegar and water works great on cleaning bird cages and leaves a fresh scent. Most importantly it is safe for parrots.
Dixie (Chihuahua)Dixie is about a 12 year old chihuahua. We adopted Dixie out of the shelter after she was dropped off, pregnant and epileptic. Dixie likes to walk down the street to the mailbox, and take power naps.

Zoe (Aussie Mix)Zoe is a 11 year old Aussie mix rescue pet. She throws a toy up in the air and tries to catch it - her own game, no one taught it to her. She catches it fairly often, too!
Nadia (Calico)Nadia is a 6 month old Calico. A few months ago, a stray cat had her in the rafters in our basement/garage, and we heard her crying. Nadia likes to tease our three other cats, that we rescued from being outside strays.
Tigger (Cat)My cat Tigger is difficult to photograph. I found that if I put catnip where I want him to lay, and he gives a great pose. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Opra's KittensOpra's kittens are about 7 weeks old in this picture. Opra was a stray young cat that showed up at my home in the rain. She became a great pet, but she was pregnant. She had 6 almost identical black kittens that were beautiful, and so much fun.
