I propped my 3 month old on his belly and elbows and put an adult sized Santa hat on him. I also got photos of him sleeping in his elf outfit that said, "Santa's little helper" and cropped the photos into a website that provided the template and ordered enough for everyone on my Christmas card list!
Get a box large enough to fit your baby in it. Wrap the box and put a ribbon on it. Place the baby in the box and put a bow on top of his or her head. You take the picture outside in the snow, or under your tree.
We love the movie "A Christmas Story". So last year we decided to pay tribute to the scene the boys love best, which is where one kid dares the other kid to stick his tongue to a frozen flag pole. I used my photo software to change the picture to black and white and frosted the edges. The caption on the card read "WE TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU TO HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS". Everyone loved it!

I saw a great idea for a Christmas card on here and wondered if someone could tell me how to do it. They took individual pictures of their kids and made them into one picture.
You get them on the computer. Use the cut and paste star or box in paint brush. No need for professional editing or pricey software.
Another idea--if you are going to have them printed by Snapfish, Winkflash, or one of those kinds of places, they will have software on their site that will allow you to put your own pictures into a template to make a collage.
Christmas card photo ideas, anyone have an idea for a Christmas picture to go with cards that I purchased? The card says "Joy to the World" and "Peace". I have 2 children, a girl and a boy, 10 and 13. Thanks!
For 'Peace' how about a snap of both children pretending to sleep (in Santa hats) while you stand over them with your hands joined and eyes upwards with a thankful look on your face?!
You could take a series of three pictures in which the kids spell out the letters JOY using their bodies...and then edit all three into one.
I have two granddaughters who own horses... they started riding really young. One of my favorite pictures of them... they and the horses have their backs to the camera (the horses are not tacked, just a lead rope). The girls are holding hands and, with their other hand, leading her horse.
For Joy one u could have the kids have on college tshirts or sweatshirts and with suitcases like they are off to collage
My husband and I and our two Great Danes all dressed in plaid pajamas laying in bed (Someone else took the picture of course). The caption read "The (last name)'s were nestled all snug in their bed"
I want to superimpose my families faces on a Christmas character. How do I do that?
I'm doing a Christmas photo card with my 3 boys in Santa hats. One picture is from 2006 and the other is a re-created picture from this year. What caption could I put? I want funny =)

I might put "Christmas Joy" or Christmas Blessings". I saw it on a shutterfly pamphlet that I got in the mail. They were cards with children on them.
Faith, Family, Friends is a good one, and such things.
You can do any of the Christmas Songs as titles also, and scripture related to Christmas are good too.
Blessings, Robyn

I am looking for a fun, cute, creative Christmas card picture. I have 3 girls 10, 6 and 3 . I have always done formal and want something different. Thank you.
Here are two websites that might give you some ideas.

Try dressing them up as "nutcrackers" or elves, etc. Or you could dress each of them up as Christmas trees.
Hope this helps.

A cute pic of them making Christmas cookies would be nice.
Last year I took my then 7 year old and 3 year old, myself and husband and used our thumbs--dipped into the black ink and put on card stock paper, added lines for antlers (brown) and used a black marker for eyes and red marker for the nose and made reindeer. They were a big hit for all our family members and friends!
Have them lay down in the floor with their heads pointed to the center, then stand in a chair above them and make the picture. You'll have 3 heads in a circle.
How about you put little aprons and/or chef hats on the girls and take a shot of them making Christmas cookies? Gingerbread people would look great! Good luck!
One of my clients last year brought their children in for Christmas cards wearing their Christmas pajamas. She didn't want to bother buying them new Christmas outfits, and I think it came out really cute.
We married on the beach in Hawaii last August, sweet and simple, no guests. We'd like to use a wedding photo for a homemade Christmas card, (some friends and family haven't seen any of our wedding photos). Help!

We always take a holiday photo at Christmas. Here is ours for this year. This is my husband and I who are almost 70 years young. We enclosed this with our Christmas cards and it says:

The new gazebo at the end of our dock cried out for decoration this season.
Searching for ideas for Christmas this past year and not wanting to write a looong Christmas letter, I found this idea. I sat the kids in front of the tree, plopped Santa hats on their heads, added a bit of tape and VOILA, instant fun!
This was our 2006 card. The background was from Google images and Photo paint was used to place the faces.
