Angel (Mini Poodle)

Angel is a 2 year old mini Poodle. We adopted her from someone who had gotten Angel for her son and he had an allergic reaction. Angel was 14 weeks old when we got her. She likes to go for walks, play with our son, and chase a tennis ball. Angel is very spoiled and also loves to snuggle.

Penny (Holland Lop)

Penny is a 2 year old Holland Lop rabbit. Penny came into our lives when she was just a little tiny bunny at the age of 4 weeks. We had been wanting to get a pet for quite some time when we stumbled upon this little bundle of joy! Penny's favorite thing to do is lay on the floor and cuddle with those around her, including our dog!

Tinker (Ferret)

Tinker is a ferret We got her from freecycle.org, and also the cage. Someone had rescued her and yet they didn't have the ability to keep her.

She is always either doing one of these things: Hiding shoes, biting toes and hands for fun, doing backward pratfalls off the bed, jumping up high and landing on her back, ( I think she does this to try to get laughs) or eating or sleeping.

She sleeps in the sock drawer when she is out and in a nice bundle of fur coats or a hammock when she is in her house. She loves to make people laugh, the way she acts is so funny. I tell everyone not to laugh if she does anything inappropriate. She is a great joy to us, and we are happy we have her in our lives.

Greenville Bart (Basset Hound)

Greenville Bart is a 10 year old Basset Hound. We foster Basset Hounds for Carolina Basset Rescue. In December of 2010 we were asked to take in a dog pulled from a dog pound upstate from us. That was when we received Bart. He was skinny, had a skin infection and a thirst that couldn't be satisfied. After we got his hypothyroidism adjusted, it was obvious he was suffering from abandonment issues. He had been beautifully raised and trained. He was grieving for his missing owner. He was in need of a lot of hugs and kisses. We were happy to oblige.

Bart likes to keep us running on schedule, 'his" schedule. He wakes us up at 7 am, goes out for his duty, and then asks for breakfast with his "indoor" voice, a quiet, muffled bark. Then it is time for him to be petted, by everyone that is up, and for a long time. He stretches out and using his indoor bark tries to get someone to pet him for at least an hour.

He knows he is good dog. He will sit directly in front of you and wait for you to notice he isn't being petted. He likes to be a clown. If he can get your attention, he will fool around with toys to get you to play.

Lucifer (Bearded Dragon)

Lucifer is a 2 year old Bearded Dragon. For Christmas two years ago, I got a box with a paper in it. On Boxing Day, I picked up Lucifer plus a tank and everything he needed.

Lucifer loves to be out of his cage and run around the house as free as he can be. He also likes to be out side when it is sunny out. Lucifer is such a calm and relaxed lizard when you hold him.

Lil Bit (Dog)

Lil Bit is 11 years old. In January 2001, my ex-boyfriend brought her to my house in a doggie bed with her little toys. He set her at my door, and rang the door bell and hid. I opened the door, and to my surprise, there she was! I fell in love. She loves to run free and to play with her toys. She also loves to dress up. lol She is very smart, knows lots of tricks, and took no time at all to learn them. She is my little girl and I love her dearly.

Romeo (Border Collie)

Romeo is a 1 year old Border Collie. A good friend gave me Romeo, he came from a large family. He loves to chase squirrels and take naps! He is a sweet dog and loves kids.

Dinky is a 2 year old cat. I got her one year ago, she showed up at my door step. She likes to run in circles, purring, and licking you when you're sad to make you feel better.

Tigger (Kitty)

Tigger is a 3 year old kitty. I've had him since he was born. He likes to play with my son and my other pets. He is the sweetest cat I've ever had and the biggest!

Sugar (American Bulldog)

Sugar is a 6 year old American Bulldog. I adopted Sugar from the ASPCA 2 years ago. She likes to take walks with her daddy. Sugar is a the most loving dog I've ever met. When I first met her no one wanted to play with her because of her size, so I knew she must be mine. She is my gentle giant.
