I am from Clare Mi, but now live near Ann Arbor, we are getting married at the Moose lodge.. normally you have to be a member.. but most have halls with bars.. so for us.. hall $300, bar maid $80, pop, ice, mixers $20, alcohol $30 per bottle, it isn't the ritz.. but do you want a fairy tale princess wedding or a place for your friends and family to gather and enjoy the special day.

The Anderson Center is really nice if you want a smaller venue. It only holds about 150 people but the price is reasonable. Also, if you have not set a date yet, consider a Friday. Everything is cheaper.

I am getting married in August, and know what "fun" this whole process is. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Hi ~ I grew up in the township -- small world. If I "had" to do it all over again, I would simply have a very small wedding maybe at a park or someone's house. Or what about all those small lakes - someone may know someone who lives there. the environment is important ~ you don't want it o sunny etc. I can't remember what parks there is around there but check it out. You can do ti very inexpensively and have it look tremendous. have friends, family bring a dish or cater something simple. have fun and relax
