My camera club has just held our first scavenger hunt. We had a list of "fall" items to look for. I found it quite interesting because I was constantly looking for things to photograph and found unusual things to fit the theme i.e. something hard turned into a picture of a calculus book since I feel it is a hard subject. You can find yourself looking at common things in a very uncommon way. New perspective of the every day world.
Sharon Naylor, Author of over 30 wedding books, posted an article for us at our site. Its a very extensive list and a great reference point to hand to create a "list of photos you want" You could do the scavenger hunt idea, do photo upload cards, or create them for every event including bridal showers, etc.
This idea is not just about the wedding and reception this can start from your first event! Have fun with it and use your friends digital cameras.

We had a bride do this and it worked great, but they used our site and instead of disposables they asked everyone to use their own digital cameras. Once the photos were uploaded then everyone got to see the photos and rate and comment on them and then they gave a funny prize to the guests with the best shots.
It really kept the party going for a week after the reception.

I really like this idea and would like to use it for my reception, its in april 08. I agree with Sam can someone put a list up so i can cut and paste and get an idea of what to put on the list for my guest
Someone needs to make a "page" where it gives you a big list of things to find in a scavenger hunt - creative ones, and specifically one for the mall. That would be great.
