Counted Cross Stitch Shadow BoxFor those who have never done counted cross stitch, here is a simple counted cross stitch picture which uses a shadow box and is three dimensional. Because counted cross stitch is so time consuming, I added the little figurine in the corner so I would have a lot less of the counted cross stitch pattern to fill up the space! The wording is fairly quick but the floral part is more time consuming. This would be a good beginner project.
Replacement for Bed Slats on a Single Bed Frame?My granddaughter's bed has those wooden slats on her bed frame. While she's been with me, they've come off several times and a few have broken. I need to find something to replace them with. I've had a look around the place but nothing jumps out as being any use. So then I looked online for wooden planks. They'd need to be about 3 feet long (36, or possibly 37 inches to fit across) but I got quite confused as I'm only used to feet and inches, even now. Also they seem quite expensive. She's quite a heavy girl and not the daintiest! I just wondered if anyone had a brainwave? Mine are sadly lacking! Thank you!
Does Anyone Know What These Biting Specks Are?These things have totally invaded my scalp and body, not to mention my entire home and every piece of fabric in my home. Does anyone know what these little biting specs are? They itch and never stop. Nothing kills them in clothing, even after being laundered with bleach. Please help.
